Term-Time and Holiday Scheduling

Daily and routine cleaning is scheduled around your school day, typically early morning or after the last pupil leaves, so lessons are never disrupted. Deeper cleans, including classroom deep cleans, gym and sports hall floor stripping and sealing, and kitchen or canopy cleaning, are usually timed for school holidays, when the building can be properly cleared, cleaned and dried before term starts again.

What Our School and Nursery Cleaning Covers

Our school and nursery contracts typically include classroom and communal area cleaning, toilet and washroom hygiene, high-touch surface disinfection, and hall and dining area cleaning. For schools with an on-site kitchen or catering facility, we also provide kitchen canopy cleaning for schools and full commercial kitchen cleaning, scheduled to fit around your existing contract rather than requiring a separate, uncoordinated provider.

School Gym Floor Cleaning, Stripping and Sealing

A school gym or sports hall floor takes a different kind of punishment to a classroom or corridor, trainers, indoor football boots, PE equipment being dragged across it, and years of foot traffic between resurfacing. Left too long, a worn or poorly sealed floor becomes a genuine safety issue, not just a cosmetic one.

Garry Burton, our Managing Director, carries out school gym and sports hall floor stripping, sealing and polishing personally. It’s a specialism he’s built up over years, not a task handed to a general cleaning crew, the process involves stripping back the existing seal, correcting any surface damage, and reapplying a floor finish suited to the specific timber and the level of use the hall gets.

Like our other deep-clean and floor treatment work, gym floor stripping and sealing is scheduled for school holidays, when the hall can be closed, properly prepared, and given time to cure before term starts and PE lessons resume.

Do you clean nurseries as well as schools?
